The Phantom Cobra is a character created by Vito Delsante and Sean Izaakse based on concepts created by Delsante in the 30 Characters Challenge[1]. and also, based loosely on the Golden Age character, the Black Cobra[2].
Character History[]
Phantom Cobra is the name of seven masked heroes. The Phantom Cobra legacy reaches back to the late 1800's and continues to this day.

Renae Hornsby-Collis is the sixth person to go by the name of Phantom Cobra. She succeeds her father, Robert Hornsby, who was killed in action during Siege of Hamburger Hill in Vietnam. While technically retired, she currently mentors her son, Devon, as he begins his career as the seventh Phantom Cobra.
